Dubai is the capital of the emirate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Persian Gulf.(Sometimes to distinguish from the Emirate of Dubai as Dubai City) live in the city of Dubai about 85% of the population of the emirate, the last available year was 1.816 million inhabitants (as of May 2010).
