Capsule hotels in Japan are one of the most amazing hotels in its form of accommodations, these capsule rooms are designed and developed for those workers Japaneses who are too busy and don't have enough time to go home to sleep.
features a large number of extremely small "rooms" (capsules) intended to provide cheap and basic overnight accommodation for guests not requiring the services offered by more conventional hotels.
The guest space is reduced in size to a modular plastic or fiberglass block roughly 2 by 1 by 1.25 m. The hotels comprise of individual blocks of small, coffin sized living quarters with just enough room to sleep.
Some capsules include a TV, a wireless internet connection, mirrors and alarm clocks.
The capsules are stacked side by side.
Capsule hotels vary widely in size, some having only fifty or so capsules and others over 700. Many are used primarily by men. There are also capsule hotels with separate male and female sleeping quarters. A towel may also be provided. The benefit of these hotels is convenience and price, usually around ¥2000-4000 (US$20–40) a night.
Really, this hotels are very comfortable. I have stayed in such type of hotel once and it provides all types of service just like a normal hotel.
